About
Our business journey
Our clinic offers safe and conservative chiropractic care for all, as Dr. Mackintosh has been trained in a multidisciplinary setting and worked in a trauma one-level hospital. The clinic specializes in spinal cord injuries, personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, and neurological conditions such as migraines in a safe, non-pharmacological way. The clinic specializes in working with high-level athletes, as Dr. Mackintosh works with Pro UFC fighters and other professional athletes in the Denver area. We also strive to educate our patients on diet and nutrition on a day-by-day basis.
Buffalo Spine & Sport Chiropractic opened in January of 2023, and is now opening up a new location for the new year of 2024! Dr. Mackintosh named his clinic Buffalo Spine & Sport Chiropractic because he did his doctorate in Buffalo at the University of Buffalo, on top of the rich and traditional history of buffalo and bison in the state of Colorado. With Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge just down the road, he felt right at home. Dr. Mackintosh is a native of Colorado, which helped with his transition from Buffalo.

Luke
Dr. Mackintosh adopted Luke in 2017. He is an energetic and endearing canine, and his preferred method of communication is vocal. Luke is partial to taking long strolls and being showered with affection, like belly rubs and hugs. Oddly enough, broccoli is his favorite snack. He goes by Lu Lu, Mr. Lu, and Sir Lucas — whichever name suits your fancy!

Goose
Goose was adopted by Dr. Mackintosh from an abusive owner following the recent loss of the previous dog, Shumba. Luke is a pack animal and needed a friend. Along came Goose, who has since gained 15 pounds and is flourishing in his new home with his family. The wolf pack has become stronger here at Buffalo Spine & Sport Chiropractic. Goose is still a puppy in training, but he relishes his belly rubs and enjoys his bones! Feel free to bring Goose a bone!
