It complements, never replaces, care from your OB or midwife.

Dr. Meghan Jeske: Caring for Mom & Baby

Born and raised in Colorado, Dr. Meghan Jeske has always made a healthy lifestyle a priority. That passion led her to a Bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University. While at CSU, she met a pediatric and perinatal chiropractor and knew this was the career for her. She worked as a chiropractic assistant in that office before attending Life University in Georgia, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2024, then moved back to Colorado to begin practicing. Today, Dr. Meghan is Webster certified and focuses on prenatal and postnatal chiropractic, caring for both moms and their little ones. Her goal is to help build a strong, healthy community with long-term wellness at the forefront.

When she's not practicing, you can find Dr. Meghan weightlifting, doing yoga, cooking, or reading her latest book. She also enjoys exploring Denver with her boyfriend and is glad to be back in her home state. She loves spending time with her family and will talk to you about her niece and nephew all day long!

CERTIFIED PRENATAL CARE

UNDERSTANDING THE WEBSTER TECHNIQUE

The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment designed to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation and sacroiliac joint dysfunction. We prioritize patient education, anatomical clarity, and full collaboration with your prenatal care team.

Neuro-Biomechanics

Restores structural balance to the pelvis and sacrum, improving nervous system function and relieving pelvic and lower back strain.

Ligament & Soft Tissue

Employs gentle, light-touch release of uterine and pelvic ligaments to reduce asymmetrical tension and optimize pelvic comfort.

Collaborative Care

Maintains open communication with your OB/GYN, midwife, and doula, serving as an integrative biomechanical support throughout pregnancy.

IMPORTANT CLINICAL SCOPE & MEDICAL BOUNDARIES

The Webster Technique is not an obstetrical procedure, an external cephalic version (ECV), or a medical treatment for fetal malposition or breech presentation. The sole clinical objective is to correct pelvic and sacral subluxation, supporting optimal pelvic neuro-biomechanics and maternal comfort.

PRENATAL CHIROPRACTIC FAQ

Questions About Chiropractic Care During Pregnancy?

Pregnancy can bring new questions about back or pelvic discomfort, movement, chiropractic care, and what may be appropriate during different stages of pregnancy. Here are answers to common questions patients ask before visiting Buffalo Spine & Sport Chiropractic in Denver.

Still have a question about your specific situation?

Chiropractic care may be considered during pregnancy when it is appropriate for the individual patient. At Buffalo Spine & Sport Chiropractic, Dr. Meghan Jeske considers your symptoms, stage of pregnancy, relevant health history, movement, and goals before recommending care. Prenatal chiropractic complements rather than replaces routine care from your obstetrician, midwife, or other maternity provider.

Some pregnant patients seek chiropractic or musculoskeletal care for concerns such as low back, pelvic, hip, or other movement-related discomfort. Others have questions about staying comfortable and active as their body changes. Because symptoms can have different causes, care should begin with an individual assessment rather than a predetermined treatment plan.

Chiropractic and other conservative musculoskeletal approaches may be considered for some pregnancy-related back or pelvic complaints. Whether care is appropriate depends on your symptoms, health history, pregnancy considerations, examination findings, and individual needs.

Care should be adapted to the individual patient and stage of pregnancy. Positioning, techniques, treatment options, and recommendations may be modified for comfort and clinical appropriateness. Not every pregnant patient receives the same type of care.

Your visit begins with a discussion about your symptoms, pregnancy stage, relevant medical history, movement, activities, and goals. Dr. Meghan can then perform an appropriate musculoskeletal assessment and discuss findings, care options, home recommendations, or coordination with another healthcare provider when appropriate.

The Webster Technique is a chiropractic approach used in the care of some pregnant patients. It focuses on chiropractic assessment and care involving the pelvis and related musculoskeletal structures. It should be understood as a chiropractic technique rather than an obstetric procedure.

Learn more about the Webster Technique →

The Webster Technique should not be presented as a procedure for manually turning or repositioning a baby. It is a chiropractic technique focused on maternal musculoskeletal assessment and care. Questions about fetal presentation, breech positioning, or obstetric management should be discussed with your obstetrician, midwife, or maternity care provider.

No. Care is individualized. Recommendations depend on your history, symptoms, pregnancy considerations, examination findings, goals, and what is clinically appropriate. Care may include chiropractic techniques as well as other conservative musculoskeletal approaches when appropriate.

There is no universal prenatal chiropractic schedule. Visit frequency should depend on your symptoms, examination findings, response to care, changing needs, and clinical appropriateness. Recommendations should be reassessed rather than based on a predetermined number of visits.

No. Prenatal chiropractic care is complementary musculoskeletal care and does not replace routine pregnancy care from an obstetrician, midwife, or other qualified maternity provider. Patients should continue their recommended prenatal medical care throughout pregnancy.

Contact your maternity or medical provider promptly for symptoms that may require medical evaluation, including vaginal bleeding, leaking fluid, severe or unusual abdominal or pelvic pain, possible contractions or preterm labor, fainting, chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe or unusual headache, sudden significant swelling, significant neurologic symptoms, decreased fetal movement when applicable, or any symptom your maternity team has instructed you to report urgently.
